Posted by caponi21833  --  NAME: ernest s caponi on 09/20/03 at 8:39 AM Subject:   blessed nunzio sulprizio i am trying to find anyone with roots from pescosansenesco near popoli in abruzzo where nunzio was born about 1817. i know from a boston globe article that former governor john volpe of massachusetts claimed a direct relationship to blessed nunzio who was beatified on december 1,1963. my maternal grandmother concetta sulprizio was born in popoli about 1868. her father antonio was born in 1809. it would be a pleasure to hear from any member of the volpe family who may have any data that could be shared regarding the genealogy of blessed nunzio.also it would be nice to hear from anyone who is willing to share any related data. tante grazie!
