Hello Roberto, saw yr post re Pacentro 1926-27.

My mother and her brothers were living in the village around that time and she remembers that the driver of the corriere to Sulmona was called Cesare but they never went to school themselves.

Incidentally, are you related to Candida Pitassi,b. 1845, who married Carmine Cercone or her daughter-in-law, Angela Pitassi, who married Candida and Carmine's son (Francesco Paolo Cercone, b.1889) and was the mother of Giulio Cercone, whose son Carmine still runs the ristorante Caldora in Pacentro, I think?

We are cousins to this branch of the Cercone family and I'm in touch with people researching that family so if you have any info I would be grateful to receive it.

Was your school in Sulmona the Ovidio college? I believe my grandfather went there in the early years of the last century, probably around 1905.

Best of luck in your searches.

Kind regards,

Alexandra Bull

: I would like to get in touch with all the classmates 1921 to 1930 who went to school in Sulmona with a Ceasare automobile without doors. I lived in Pacentro until 1948 and moved to McKees Rocks Pennsylvania in America.
