Posted by srcorsi- AT - facstaff.wisc  --  NAME: Steve on 09/24/01 at 5:52 PM Subject:   Corsi My Granfather, Dominic Corsi, and his parents imigrated to the USA in approximately 1920 (they came over when he was 8-10 years old and he was born in 11/11/1911). They lived in Upper Michigan--my Grandfather lived in Watersmeet Michigan. His parents were Massnino Corsi and Catherine Corsi (maiden name Denocenti). I'm not sure about the exact spelling of my great Grandmothers name, but I think it is close. I didn't see Denocenti on the Capestrano geneology web page. I found out just last week that I will have an opportunity to visit Italy for 12 days and I am really interested to visit Capestrano and see where some of my family came from. It would be even better if I was able to meet some relatives. Given that I don't speak Italian, it may be tough to have much of a conversation, but it should be a fun adventure either way.
