If you want to contact relatives of your grandfather and great-grandmother in Castiglione Messer Marino, click on the link "Pagine Bianchi" on the Abruzzo 2000 homepage (at the bottom of the page.) This will take you to the telephone directory - type in "Liberatore" at the "Cognome" prompt, and "Castiglione Messer Marino" at the "Comune" prompt - click on "Search" and you will see a list of Liberatore names in that town. You can do the same for Franceschelli, but check your spelling of this name, there are no Franchiscelli listed. Perhaps you can try telephoning or writing to the people listed or obtain more precise information from a Latter Days Saints family history centre - you can ask to see copies of birth registers etc for specific years and perhaps trace cousins etc. The Family History Library Catalog is available on-line, as is a list of where you can find these family history centres around the world.
