My great grandfather was from Bucchianico, just outside of Chieti and his name was Sabatino Zappacosta, born in 1888. His father's name was Carmine Zappacosta There are a lot of Zappacosta's. I was in Italy in July and did some research on my great grandfather. We were told that there is a Zappacosta woman in Chieti that owns a Textile Shop. Sorry, don't have her name and we didn't have time to research this part. It is difficult to do research there unless you can speak Italian and I cannot. We went to the Town Hall in Bucchianico to get information. My grandfather came to Canada and then went back to Italy and married Edvidga Vincenzetti, and then they came back to Canada and had all their children in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Sabatino had brother's named Urbano, Tobia and Donato and a sister Maria. Donato was a postman in Bucchianico and he and his sister were the only ones that stayed in Italy. If you know dates and names the LDS library has a lot of information. Also there are ship manifest records you can look up on the Ellis Island website. Good Luck
