A very detailed map may show the village, but most maps will just show the city of Teramo. Valle San Giovanni is only nine km. from it. Montorio is the biggest town on the other side of Valle San Giovanni. Gran Sasso is another large land mark a half hours drive from Valle San Giovanni. Large book stores may have a suitable map.
