My father immigrated to Australia in the 1960's for work. He came out with his brother who returned to the village in the 60's as well. My dad's name is Paolo, he was born in 1938. Pietro, his brother is about 15 - 20 years his senior. There are a number of others in their family but the only one I can remember is Gaetano, recently dead (I think). Pietro has two sons Franco and Loreto who still live in the village with their families. The village produces the most marvellous olive oil and Pietro and Loreto produce fabulous wine and grappa. I have only been there once, about 10 years ago and I still have the most vivid and fond memories of the place. A good mapo is hard to find I think due to it being such an out of the way and end of the road type place.
