Searching for possible links/information on my family.

My paternal grandmother was Mary Spadaccini (Kressaty). Her parents were Lorenzo and Domenica (D'Elfonso) Spadaccini.

There is a family story about a "controversy" which caused the entire family to leave the region and come to America.

I have reason to believe from one very weak link that our family was from the town of Gissi.

If anyone has any information, please contact me.

I am GOING to Italy on 11.2.01 and plan to visit Chieti for at least one, perhaps two or three, days.
