I am currently researching the following surnames from the village: COLANTONIO, DI LUCA, DEL ROSSO, FERRARO, FIORILLI, FRANCHILLI, MANCINI, MONTANARO, PETRELLA, RAIMONDO, SASSI, STICCO, TERZANO, VESPA. The LDS have microfilmed the civil records of Montorio during the XIX Century, and they are available at family history centers. I have had success in tracing my ancestry back to the beginning of the XVIII Century through these records.
