Hi Kathy: I attempted to email you, but it was returned due to problems with your email address.
My name is Mary Ann D'Altorio Dailey and my great grandfather was Paolo Berardinelli. I am uncertain if he was born in Roccaraso, Italy or not, but that is where he lived prior to emigrating to the US. He married my great grandmother Giovannina Tamburrini and they resided in Latrobe, PA on Derry Street until his death in the early 1920's. I do not believe the Berardinelli name was indiginous to Roccaraso, but it did exist in the Aquila province and probably came from Castel di Sangro. Are your relatives from that area? Let me know. By the way, I have Buccicone names in my ancestry, too. Thanks, Mary Ann
