He had two brothers named Vicor and Hugo, and he married my grandmother, Marie Mele. It is quite possible that there is a connection. : Michelle, if your grandfather Joe lived in Florida near his brother Hugo for awhile, we are related. If your great-grandfather's name was Nick, it's a sure bet. That's correct! He lived in Ft. Lauderadale, I believe. My mom, Deanna, is the second of his four daughters. The rest of his daughters and their children are all in the NYC area. I have to admit I don't know too much about the family besides that-- how are you related to my grandfather?
