I am the second of his four daughters. His two brothers are Ettore (Arthur) and Hugo. My father and his brothers lived most of their lives in New York, but in retirement my father and Hugo moved to Florida. Hugo is still living there. My dad died in April of 1999. Ettore is still living in New York. My grandfather's name was Nicole and I named my first daughter after him. He died in July, 1947, just two months after I was born. He was married to Fiorentina Gizzi or Gittzi (I'm not sure of the spelling) who died in 1969. I would love to know how we are related. I know of only one cousin my father had and his name was Enzo or Enzio. My cousin Arthur (Ettore's oldest son) knows of some other cousins and I'm sure Ettore knows the family history. He is 84 and recently lost his wife, Inez, who was a truly wonderful woman. Ettore would know of relatives in Italy since his family still has close connections with Italy. Arthur married a fantasic girl from Turin, Brigitta. Because of Britt, the family returns to Italy frequently and has many contacts there. We will be going to Italy in November because my 3rd daughter will be completing a semester abroad in Florence and we plan to travel to Abbruzzi. Arthur and Britt will be there at the same time. Please let me know how we are related and who you are trying to reach in Italy. Perhaps we can be of some help to each other.
