I know very little about my Italian Roots but I do know some family surnames. At the present time I am trying to talk my aunt into visiting Italy to learn more. I still have relations there -- or more closely she does in the form of aunts and first cousins. The surnames we have in common are Bucci, Montanaro, and Greco. My Grandfather was Giuseppe Bucci, his parents were Nicola Bucci and Philomena Greco. He also had a sister (who never married) that went to Argentina. My grandfather married Nicolina Ferraro.
