He came from the Chieti provience (in Casacanditella to be exact). I know his father (my great grandfather) was named Antonio Mattia and he was a farmer. My grandfather moved to Australia in the mid 1950's where he got married in 1957. If anyone knows anything about him,the area he came from or his family i would appreciate any information as i do not know much since he died before i was born (my father was only 6) and my grandmother seemed to loose touch with the family.
