I am in the U.S. Army and while I was stationed in Germany, my brother and I drove to Bungara and walked thru the cemetary in town. My grandfather died before I was old enough to really speak to him about his family or early life, and my grandmother passed away shortly after he did. My father, unfortunately, did not ever have any interest in learning about his family history and so he did not know much either. My first assigment in the Army was in Vicenza, Italy where I lived for three years.
