411: Aimola Heritage Forums - January 2002

Posted by kamere- AT - stn  --  NAME: Patricia on 03/14/02 at 11:52 AM Subject:   Aimola I am sorry, but I don't know their 'nicknames.' I will ask my mother through my sister. I will also ask about any names of my grandparent's siblings.The surname of my Grandmother was the same as the man she married! They were both Aimolas! I think they came from the same fishing village but I am not certain. Sorry for such vague information. I wish my mother who will be 95 this April, would use the computer at my sister's home. They live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. When the Aimola's imigrated to Canada they first settled in Peterborough and later moved to Toronto. Most of the Aimola's are deceased now.
