asp , I was able to find an Antonio Di Corpo who was
christened on August 12,1850, in Mignano Montelungo,
Caserta, Italy. At http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/
Search/frameset_search.asp , I found a Maria Giovina
Stella, who was christened on November 13, 1850, in
Guardiagrele, Chieti, Italy. Because it is customary to name the second born after
the mother's father's name, there is some possibility
that this is the correct Maria Stella, her father's
name was Donato, and she may have given my grandfather
that name. I have been unable to find a map anywhere which shows
the Comune di Campobasso. Is there any website that
has maps which show the comuni of the various
provinces?
I did find, however, a website that enabled me to do a
surname search on Di Corpo:

greatest number of Di Corpos are located in Molise,
primarily around Campobasso:

. But it also shows the Di Corpos in Mignano
Montelungo, Caserta, Italy. It also shows that Di

There are Di Corpos in California, Illinois,
Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. In any event, this is some of what I have been able to
find so far. As I said above, if you could tell me
