This is a message to update my posting from July, 2001. My E-Mail address has changed. It is now pj1731- AT - attbi.com.

The Pacifici family from Secinaro that came to America and settled in East Chicago, Indiana did not come alone. My Grandfather rubbed shoulders with old friends from abroad. One of his closest friends was Louis Ferrini. He stood up at my Grandfather Charles' wedding in 1921.

Some other names I have heard are families that came from Secinaro and resided in East Chicago: DiPietro, Colantonio, Graziani are just to name a few. I'm sure there are others.

It's a big world in theory, but the phrase "It's a small world" definitly applies most of the time.
