I hit send before I typed the message. My father emigrated to the US in 1927 from Scapoli, and lived in North Providence, RI. There is a good chance he knew your grandfather as the Italian Community was fairly close knit. His mother was Maria Conneccio. There is a fairly complete family tree of the Palmisciano's which is maintained by his cousin. If any of this helps, please get back to me, and I'll do some more research.
