Subject: Henry Nani Sr.
My wife and I had begun an inquiry into the geneology of my fathers origins in 1962.
At that time we visited the municipality of Isernia and learned by examining a ledger to see his name in longhand script that he was indeed born in the town of Isernia.
We visited his place of birth but was unable to learn of any living relatives remaining. One referral took us to a lady in her 90's who had some knowledge of the name but said that all people with that surname had long departed.
He was born in 1894 or 1896, I cannot remember which but it was plainly written in the book at that meeting.
I am looking for any information relating to the surname Nani and any help would be most appreciated.
I might add that he had several siblings: Albert, William, Doloras and others I do not know of.
