I'll ask her about the lats name "mastantuono" that,for sure,is not from capracotta! on the contrary ,"vitullo" sounds familiar to me but I can't give u any precise information... capracotta's website is "www.capracotta.com" so maybe u can find someone who can help u better than me and u can have a look at the place u come from... as soon as I know something I'll email u! good luck! if u have questions or u want to ask me anything about capracotta,please do it! ciao! roberta conti : my grandparents on my mother's side were both born in the province of campobasso in the towns of capracotta and montagano although i don't know which one was from where. what i do know is that my grandfather's name was giovanni mastantuono and my grandmother's was pasqualina vitullo. they came to the united states in the late 1800's. they died in the early forties. there was never any contact with other relatives there so i don't know if any exist. if you have the slightest inkling as to others with the same names, please write to me. i will be so grateful. molte grazie. carl Follow Ups:
