I have all of the information including copies of his birth, wedding and military service. I have even been to the spot where he was abandoned in Teramo. His parents were part of a very poor class in Abruzzo, they couldn't afford to feed another child, many many children were "Esposito", exposed in Abruzzo, there even had been a huge earthquake. Speranza's last name was DiNardo. Many times last names were changed because of the husband's father's name, "Di" of course meaning "of". Both Vincenzo and Speranza were illiterate but I think My Grandfather learned to read and write in the military. Your Mother in Law, my Aunt Mary could give us some insight......as well as my sister Barby....Going to Italy again this month....visiting my Cousins in Basciano again....
