I've been to Poggiofiorito in Abruzzi -- is it possible that there is another town with the same name, seems unlikely. Was your mother born in the States -- who was born in Poggiofiorito. Poggiofiorito that my family is from is in the province of Chieti, about 45 minutes from Pescara, close to towns called Crecchio and Arielli. We also know of people from Poggiofiorito with the last name DiMunno. I also called my cousin who is from Pogg and she has never heard of your mother or grandfather?? What's their history with Poggiofiorito? I'd love to hear back from you.
