It is great to get more information on my family. My father never talked much and I never got to go back to RI to meet anyone. I have always heard Carmalita's name but never realized or put together she was Rose's daughter and my cousin. All I know about Teresa Ciummo is that was also her maiden name and was a distant cousin of my grandfather. I still have not taken a look at to her place of birth, which should be on the copy of my dad's birth certificate.
I just spoke to Mario via phone last week, and apparently he plans to go to RI early next year, I am hoping my day dad can go with. I was wondering who was left there. But with such a big family, I am sure there are still plenty of Ciummo's/relatives. I live in Seattle, where are you located? I did not receive
any if the family history Julia put together, but would like to see it. I you care to respond at my e-mail address I use at work that would be fine. I prefer not to post personnal information on the Web. Let me know, and I will check with my mother who went back to RI with my dad when the first married. She seems to know some things. My dad is in assisted living the past year since his memory is not what it used to be.
