My fathers' first cousins. It seems as though the original name was Fracassi as we found letters from 1897 from my great uncle who moved to Brazil. Some how the name was seemed to be changed to Fracasso in Italy, and those who left Italy kept Fracassi. In Popoli the main street is Via Nerino Fracasso. I can only go back to my great grandparents Antonio Fracassi who married Anna Maria Belviso. I would love to find more information. Please let me know what you have found. I did also meet a man in Sulmona with the last name Fracassi and after 2 hours of talking over coffee in his house comparing family trees we decided we were not related, but we enjoyed the afternoon anyway.
