I was born, and currently live in Buffalo, New york. grandfather Illuminato C. Mogavero was born in Isnello, Catania, Sicilly in 1900. He came to US in 1905 after His father Niccolo Mogavero sent for his mother (formerly a Castillia)and him. They sailed aboard the steam Ship Liner "ROMA" that landed at Ellis Island. Illuminato eventually married Maria Piccardini in 1929. They had three sons named, Nicholas, Benjamin, and John. All three reside in Buffalo NY. John is My father. not too long ago my father ran into a doctor that was from Isnello, catania. he said that he knew mogaveros from there that owned a bicycle repair shop. Follow Ups:
