Posted by tonym- AT - constress.com.au">Tony Marchegiano on 04/20/02 at 11:23 AM Subject:   Marchegiano I have been researching the whereabouts of my grandfather, Angelo Marchegiano From San Vito Chietino Provincia di Chieti Abbruzzo, that migrated to Canada in 1906. After being there a little while my grandmother stopped receiving news from him when she did not want to go to Canada to join him there. When he left he was 23 and my grand mother was about 2 months pregnant with my father. fFrom the Ellis Island record he arrived there 9th of May 1906. According to the records I have found he went to Peterborough to join an uncle named Giovanni Di Nobile. The adress was 160 Hunter St. He also travelled with Rocco Palermo from San Vito Chietino as well.
