Subject:   Monteferrante Chieti Photo's .

I have some lovely photo's of the village of Monteferrante , if any one would like to see I can scan and send . The village is amazing perched on top of a mountain , with two fountains one in the village square and the other at the very peak of the mountain . People travel from far away villages and town to collect the freezing water as it gushes from the fountain , the water is supposed to be very good for your health .
The church is lovely having been restored with money collected in America and Australia from Ex Monteferrante's .
The vista from the homes in Monteferrante of the Majela Lake Bomba and the surrounding country is to die for !!!! . There is also a very good Albegro , we had a fantastic meal . Without a doubt , I can say for me Monteferrante was truly unforgetable . Nancy ,Down under.
