I dated a girl in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida whose last name was Alloggia, and her father was named Angelo, and he was born in L'Aquila, around 1933 or 34. His father had gone to Australia to work and had died there of a heart attack, sometime after WWII. Angelo came to the US after WWII, I believe to Pennsylvannia but moved to Florida. He owned a construction company, Dickerson Homes. Angelo had a brother that also left Italy but moved to Venezuela. I don't recall his name but he owned a bus company in Caracas. I never heard Angelo mention another brother in Australia or a sister. His mother died in L' Aquila in the early 1980's. Angelo may still be alive. His wife's name is Elia and they lived in Plantation, Florida. They have two daughters: Eliann and Pam. I hope this is helpful.
