Subject: Andreola and Spinelli
I hit the jackpot last week at the Mormon Family History Center in Slat Lake City. I had come to a dead end with
the naturization papers of my grandfather Nicolo Andriole. I then found his marriage certificates to my
step-grandmother (she died at age 23 of pnuemonia) and grandmother. On it were listed the maiden name of
his mother(Filomena Spinelli) and first name of his father(Domenico). I then did a search and came up with a
marriage of Filomena Spinelli and Domenico Andreola in 1869 in Perano,Chieti. Since my grandfather was born
in 1875 it seems like I have found my paternal great-grandparents and the birthplace of my grandfather which I have
been looking for about two years. I'm so happy and would like to know if there are any other Spinelli's or Andreola's
from Perano or in neighboring Chieti towns out there. Regards,
