Pat:Here's what I know about your family. My grandfather was Joseph D'Aurora, also from Pettorano, came to the states sometime prior to 1916. His nephew was a Benigno Carrara, who came to the states and raised four children here. Upon retirement, Ben and his wife, Anna, returned to Pettorano; they have a fifth child (I believe there were five altogether) living in nearby Sulmona. I visited Ben and Anna a few times many years ago--1976, I believe. I'm wondering if Ben's father was either Giovanni or Gioachhino?Jack D'Aurora Follow Ups:
