9: Anyone of my cousins ie Celestino LeDonne still living in Ateleta?Heritage Forums - June 2002 |

My dad was from Ateleta. His name was Amedeo Gizzi. His father was Carmen Gizzi,and his mother (my grandmother) was Lucia Gizzi. . They had six children. Amedeo, Gino, Irma, Olga, Aida, Antoinette and another girl whose name I forgot. Amedeo came to America when he was l8. Uncle Gino came before the war and Uncle Ginotto after the war. They are all dead now, my Aunt Antoinette passed last year. My dad passed in l999 on the eve of Padre Pio's Feast day. He knew and loved Padre Pio and now this holy man will be canonized on June 16th! My mother's name was Jane Donatelli, her mother was Antonio Donatelli and her husband was Joseph. They had six children in America. If anyone has any history of any of my dad's family, I would appreciate it. I have six wonderful children adn l0 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. I don't see Roberto and John LeDonne very often since the funeral last year. Bruno and Celestino DiNardo are brothers. Bruno lives with his son in New York, and Celestino still lives in Ateleta. I would love some pictures. I cannot come there but am sorry that I didn't when I was youger.Would appreciate hearing from someone in English Please! God Bless all of you and I hope you are in Love with Jesus and Mary as we are. Today is Corpus Christi and we all went to Mass at our Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pa. where we live. It is a beautiful city and very blessed in many ways. The people here are wonderful and we have a wonderful Bishop and Holy Father. Pray for our Catholic Church. WE have many enemies now.
