I am looking for a grandfather, Germano Capriotti, who came to the US from Italy around the turn of the century. He married, had 9 children, divorced and went back to Italy in the 1920s. He was about 40 then. I have no idea where he is from or where he went in Italy, but he remarried there and had one daughter, Rosa, who married Dino Catalani and they had two children, Germano and Cristina Capriotti.

Germano had one brother, Raphael, who died in Alaska in 1907, and 6 sisters. His parents were Antonio and Pia Rosa Capriotti. As far as I know, the sisters and parents stayed in Italy, but perhaps not.

Could Josephine be a sister, or perhaps a cousin, of Germano?

Would appreciate anything you might know about this family, or any suggestions you might have as to where to look.

Many thanks

Elizabeth Yates
