August 2002 - Message 61: Pescara/Wedding Heritage Forums - August 2002

We are both American citizens, but her grandparents were born and raised in Abruzzi. She also has relatives still living in Pescara and Abbateggio. The total number of guests should be between 20 and 30. We are looking for suggestions (and email addresses/websites if possible) for the following information: 1) Lodging (we found several hotels online - Carlton, Esplanade, Maja, Plaza - but do not how nice these hotels for guests and potential reception) 2) Nice Restaurants (potential reception locations) 3) Flower shops 4) Musicians 5) Best transportation from Rome Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you, Steve & Antoinette Io e la mia fidanzata stiamo progettando il matrimonio in Italia l'estate prossima. Siamo entrambi cittadini americani, ma i suoi nonni sono nati e cresciuti in Abruzzi. Inoltre ha parenti ancora che vivono in Pescara ed in Abbateggio. Il numero totale di ospiti dovrebbe essere fra 20 e 30. Stiamo cercando suggerimenti (ed email addresses/websites se possibile) per le seguenti informazioni: 1) (abbiamo trovato parecchi hotel in linea - Carlton, Esplanade, Maja, plaza - ma non sappiamo quanto piacevoli siano questi hotel per gli ospiti e l'eventuale ricevimento nuziale) 2) buoni ristoranti (per l'eventuale ricevimento) 3) fiorai 4) musicisti 5) miglior trasporto da Roma. Ogni aiuto sara' molto apprezzato.
