One of our many stops was Rapino (Chieti Province)...the town where my grandfather, Domenico Rosano was born. We stayed at Il Tiglio. It was fantastic. The rooms were recently restored. The bathroom was finished in Italian marble. The daily rate was 40 Euro. The dining room offered great food, and the best was it was 1/3 the cost of the bigger cities like Rome, Florence and Venice. We highly recommend Il Tiglio if your looking for a quiet stay on your trip to Abruzzo. Follow Ups:
