Ms. Kwolek,

I'm embarrassed to say I only just returned to this site after posting my message last November! If it is not too late, I have only minimal information regarding my grandparents. They were both born between 1876 - 1885. From farming backgrounds, they married in Capestrano around the turn of the century. Felice Castagna came to America alone to work in the mines of Minnesota. When he earned enough money, he returned to Capestrano to bring Giovanna and his young family to America, and that was about 1911. They settled in Brooklyn, but I am not sure if they came in through Ellis Island or Philadelphia. Their children born in Capestrano were Gildo and Maria(born 1909). Another son, John was born in America- the only surviving member. That is about all I have.
Thanks for anything you might be able to add.
Carol Crespi
