Ciao Giulio e Pat!

I've come across your postings on the Abruzzo2000 website, so thought I should contact you. As I just visited and stayed with the Cesarone family last summer, and compiled a good deal of information on the family, I thought I might have some potentially useful information for you.

My great grandparents were from Buonanotte, now known as Montebello sul Sangro. My great grandmother was Giulia Cesarone, who married Niccola DiLullo and emmigrated to Philadelphia. My great grandmother's family still has homes in the village, which is where we stayed. I was able to gather a fair amount of information about the subsequent generations of Cesarone's, now mostly living in Rome and a few in France. We've just moved into a new place within the past few weeks, so let me know if you are interested and I will dig out the files. As my Italian is pretty bad, I'm sure there's much I didn't get while there. I'd love to learn anything you might also know about the family.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

: : I am researching the names of Cesarone, Di Santo, Nelli, Ficca, Di Renzo, Gianfarra--all from Bomba. Please contact me if you think we have anything in common. Ciao, Pat

: I was born in Bomba 1944. But, other than my parents and grandparents I have no other info on the Cesarone name. What is your relation to the Cesarone name?
