My grandfather Antonio was born in a small village 30 km north of Vicenza called Montecchio Precalcino. I went there in 2000 and there are still some Dall'Ostos in the area. His wife Teresa (my Nona) had the surname of buzzachera and came from a nearby village. They emigrated to the USA in 1905 and lived in a town in Northern Illinois called Rockford. I would like to learn about other people with the Dall'Osto surname, when they came from Italy, what towns they came from and where they live now to try to establish a worldwide family tree. The Dall'Osto surname is unique and I believe that all of us are cugino/a to some degree. Let me know if you are interested in corresponding further to exchange family information. Molto grazie.
