on 11/27/02 at 7:43 PM I have traced my grandmother's family in Torrioni and Petruro Irpino and am interested in corresponding with others with Torrioni and Petruro ancestry. My grandmother, Emelia BRUNO was born in Torrioni in Dec 1885, d/of Gennaro BRUNO and Brigida ZARRELLA (b Petruro Irpino in 1856). Gennaro BRUNO was b (Torrioni) in 1856, son of Pasquale BRUNO and Antonio Carmela IAMMAZZO. Other names in the generations further back are: CAENTRELLA, OLIVIERO, POLISENA, SCEPPA, SABATINO, CENNERAZZO, DEVITO, ROMANO, FERRARA, PAELOSI, D'MARCO, AGOSTINO, D'AGOSTINO, GIOVANIELLO, PIRELLI, FARESE, DIPIETRO, MOZZILLO, LEPORE, & ZOINA. These are all direct ancestors. I have visited the comune and have pictures if any others would like to see them. The BRUNO family settled in Saugus, Essex Co., MA. Follow Ups:
