I would like a listing of the family members so I can possibly help others connect to you. I would like it in the form of the following, if possible, and am providing an example of mine: Federico Papa, b. Senerchia 1842
______ Cozzi, b. Senerchia _____ (date), brother of Rosaria Cozzi Papa If I have more of this type of information, instead of just telling me a surname that you are connected to, then I could possibly begin to put together more information and a possible web page to begin connecting our ancestors. Be sure to research the www.ItalyWorldClub.com website as the different regions have listings of surnames. For example, Senerchia lists the following surnames: 93 DIFFERENT SURNAMES PRESENTLY RECORDED I have information that connects the following surnames to my family that are still listed above as living in Senerchia now: BOFFA 9 * CATALDO * COZZI 6 * DEL GIUDICE 3 * ESPOSITO * GASPARRO 16 * GIUDICE 2 * GRILLO 7 * MARINO 2 * MARZULLO 3 * MAZZONE 5 * PAPA 10 * RAIMONDO 8 * RUSSO 3 * SESSA 15 * TRIMARCO 3 * VECE 24 * I hope to hear more from those researching here with a bit more definitive information. I have numerous other surnames connected with my family that may or may not be from Senerchia. My Senerchesi came to the United States to Chicago. I know that more went to other areas of the United States, but my direct line was in Chicago. Papa, Cozzi, Mazzone are connected. I also understand that a Trimarco may have been a mother to my Federico Papa. I believe I have uncovered some information and it is at home that indicates his parentage. Also, if anyone is able to order the films from the LDS and do any transcribing from them, that would help us get to more information on our families in Senerchia and would help get a website set up for those of us researching Senerchia ancestors. I think we would find a tangled web here once we get at the data. Is anyone out there willing to help. I have heard from a few people who are interested in a website for Senerchia, but I need data and help from those of you out there with ifnormation on your families. Let's work together and see what we can get accomplished. Also, I requested a mail list from Rootsweb for Senerchia, and because the Avellino website doesn't have much activity, they do not want to give me a mail list for Senerchia. I would like us to possibly begin corresponding on the Avellino mail list. To subscribe, please send a "subscribe" message (without the quotes) to: ITA-AVELLINO-L-request- AT - rootsweb.com Or, if you prefer the digest mode, substitute a D for the L in the address. I can also be reached at: dawells2- AT - aol.com Thank you to those who write me and/or subscribe to the mail list. I'll post this on the mail list also. Denise
