Hello, I'm sure that you are a descendent of the Mazzone family that welcomed so many Senerchese to Chicago in the late 1800's-early 1900's. While researching the Ellis Island records to find my grandfather's cousins, I found the name Mazzone and also some Del Giudices. I happened to learn on this site that your mother was also a Del Giudice. I think my gradfather's cousin was named Paul : he lived in Chicago and stayed there, while my grandfather lived in New York for the entire time he was in the USA, before returning to France.

What I'm looking for are the names of any brothers or sisters of my grandfather or any information about his forefathers.
In case you can help me here is some background information :
My grandfather was Alessandro DEL GIUDICE, born in Senerchia on Nov. 1. 1884. His mother was Catarina ONESTO (or maybe ONESTA) and his father was Michele DEL GIUDICE. According to the Ellis Island records, he came over to the USA on the SS Germania, arriving in NYC on April 26, 1907. He stayed in New York instead of going on to Chicago as he had first planned. He went back and forth between NYC and Senerchia several times. If you read this message and if you find any points in common between my family and yours, please let me know. Maybe I can give you some information about my grandfather's descendents if you're interested.

I also noted that Denis Wells is very active ont his site. I've communicated with her but apparently it's difficult to determine any direct connections.
My grandfather married Maria Giuseppina PARRA, daughter of Marc PARRA and Rose TRIMARCO. Their children were : Ernesto Pasquale (my father), Orlando, Rosa, Maria Virgine, Michele Simone (they were all born in Senerchia or in Nice, France).

I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.
