on 03/13/03 at 12:16 AM Hello: I am seeking information on my stepfather Carmen Miele's family. He was born in Suffern, N.Y., but his father Carmine Miele was born in Avella, Avellino, Campania, Italy, on June 4, 1884. He was married to Pasqualina Sorise (Sorris?) in Naples or nearby. She was from a town called something like Farance, also near Naples. I would love to know anything about the Miele family history in Italy, and especially information about Carmine's family. On the mother's side, is the name probably Sorise or is there another spelling more likely? Is there a town called Farance? Thanks for any help. My son's name is also Carmen Miele, and I would like him to know more about his name's history. Follow Ups:
