I found your message as I was searching for information on San Donato. My mother and I are going to Italy on 9/26/03 and will be spending a few days in San Donato (my first trip but my mother has gone back several times). My mothers maiden name is Marcellina Tempesta and her mother was Lorretta Cardarelli (Tempesta). My mother and her siblings and parents imigrated to the states in 1929 settling in Quincy Massachussets. I know that she had an uncle Pompeo Cardarelli who live in Upper Darby after he came to the states. I plan to take pictures of the family homes (both Tempesta and Cardarelli) while in San Donato and would be willing to download and send. Even if we are not related I would be willing to share pictures and information.
