I have attended one of the reunions 2 years ago. The reunions that I am aware of are held in November each year. One reunion is in Boston, and the other reunion is usually held a week later in the Bronx or another part of New York. The politicians in Italy select a group of people from San Donato to have a free trip to the United States. The group usually stays in the U.S.A. for about 10 days. One of the politicians that organizes the trip is an acquaintance of mine. His name is Antonello Antonellis and he currently works for the Economic Development division in Italy. Antonello is from San Donato and I usually see him in the piazza on the weekends or during holidays when I visit San Donato. There is an ancestry website that you can access. I will email you the website name shortly. By the way, the other coincidence is that my father, Donato Leone, passed away in San Donato and his plot in the cemetary there is right next to a woman by the name of Maria Tempesta.
