Saluti a tutti. Greetings to one and all.
over the past several hundred years all of our Families have been busy inter-marrying with each other and now we are all related.
for those seeking information onrelatives who settled in England at the turn of the century there is now a website where you can see the CENSUS OF 1901.
here I found out that my Grandfather Domenico Forte from La Leschia/cilucio
had settled in Exeter with his second wife Pacifica(Morelli). they had two children from his first marriage to a very beautiful girl from PICINISCO. Angelo & Lucia.
to see if any of your relatives are listed in the UK Census of 1901 go to:
http://www.census.pro.gov.uk/index.html
go to SEARCH enter surname only. then MALE. then age 5 +-35 and search
this is free but extracts are charged in euros.
