Ciao Lidia,
My father's brother (George DeLallo)[DiLallo] has a grocery business. My grandfather was in the food business when he came to America back in 1907 originally. He journeyed back and forth to America from Petrella Tifernina, Italy quite a number of times. My aunt was actually born in Petrella in 1914 and we were able to look up her birth records.
From my understanding a Raffaele (not sure of spelling) DiLallo was just visting my uncle and my father here in the US in the Pittsburgh, PA area. I believe my father said he was about early to mid 40's. He thought we were cousins along the line which could be likely. There was a brother (monk) Fr. Giovita whom I believe lived in Rome. We met a man that was his cousin in Petrella. There is some sort of coname (triccia) or something like that which people referred to, but my father and I didn't get the understanding of this. Maybe you have heard of it or the spelling sounding more like petrizzia.
Sorry not much info. If I can help any more help, I would be happy to. My grandfather's name was Francesco DiLallo and his wife was Maria Raffaella Palmera DiLallo. They were married in 1907 in Petrella. I am not sure how many brothers my grandfather had.
If you have any info, keep me posted.
thanks,
Christine
