Our family names are DiBlasio, DelVicario, Miniero, Melfi, for just a few. I know that a Maria Rosa Scardera married Giovanni DelVicario on Aug. 25, 1892, and that their 2 month old son Guiseppantonio died on Aug. 13, 1893. Is she part of your line? I am also going to Italy in October. Hopefully, I am going to have enough time to see Casacalenda. Would love to find where my ancestors lived. I know that there are loads of Casacalendis in Montreal, but haven't even begun to look there in my search. Hope to hear from you. You can email me directly, if you like.
