What part of the world are you living in? I know of some DiBlasios' here in Montreal that are distant relatives of my father. Scardera was my grandmothers' maiden name. I couldn't tell you if the names you mentioned from the 1800's are part of my line. My parents are no longer living, so my search is all that more difficult. I have an aunt (my dad's sister) still living in Casacalenda. Her married name is Montaldo. Hope this helps with your search & keep me posted if you come up with any info on your end.
