Posted by sj.pannitti- AT - verizon  --  NAME: Sheila Pannitti on 01/16/03 at 6:43 AM Subject:   PANNITTI, FARINACCI, DEL BALSO, CARERRA FAMILIES I am searching for any remaining PANNITTI and/or FARINACCI and/or DEL BALSO and/or CARERRA families still living in or around Gildone, Camposbasso. My grandfather, Carminantonio (Carmine Antonio) Pannitti (b: 7/15/1895; d: 11/1970) and wife, Maria Guiseppa Farinacci (born 3/19/1897; d: 12/1943)[both born in Gildone] imigrated to New York September 1920. Carmine's parents, Domenico, (b. abt. 1873) and Maria Carerra (b. abt. 1875) were born -- and died -- in Gildone. Maria's parents, Vincenzo Farinacci and Caterina DelBalso, both born and died in Gildone died before 1920. All I know of these families is that Domenico Pannitti had a brother, Francesco. Carmine's brother was Michele (Michael). Michael immigrated to New York in 1909. This is about all I know of these families. ANY information on any of the four families I mentioned would be appreciated.
