01/27/03 at 8:52 AM Hello all. I am just beginning my search and have very little information to go on. The only clue to Campobasso that I have is that it was written on the back of an old photograph. I have been unable to find anything about my grandfather - Phillip A. Dalaco. I feel certain that name was Americanized. Here is what I know: Maternal grandmother: Maria Louisa Fasulo, born 3/29/1889. I know she had family in Syracuse, NY. Possibly a sister named Assunta, a brother named Lorenzo, and either a brother or nephew who was a priest, named Carl. Her parents: Pasquale Fasulo and Carmella Midunio. I believe she and my grandfather were married in Italy. Maternal grandfather: Phillip A. Dalaco, born 4/14/1890. His parents: Anthony (Antonio?) Dalaco and Antonia Primiano. He fought in WW1 as an American soldier. There was contact between the American and Italian cousins as late as the 1960's, because I remember my mother sending her wedding gown back to Italy for a cousin to wear. Anything that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated! Follow Ups:
